I was wondering if he could have modified some file, after the Q session, thinking he had avoided all the mismatch stuff, and then ,when we changed sessions, the file change was noted by the server and it let us know about this "new" mismatch.

If some one could let me know which file to change, I can try it out. I couldn't be as simple as changing the invulnerable setting, is it ? If you try from the screen, the server just tells you it's not allowed.

It won't matter. The problem was that Scott's PC was set up to NOT boot mismatches, a problem he has since corrected, so it shouldn't be an issue in the future.

I have been on other servers with Chev, and he is a tool. Wrecks people and just starts crap with other drivers. First time I saw him was racing meganes.. he had spun out and waited on the back straight at mills facing traffic waiting to take out the leader.. which he did.. and it was me.

That evening when I saw that he was going to be kicked from the race, I thought that would be fine, since he could not ruin it. However he seemed to get into the race and then we know the rest. I have not specifically known him as a cheater.. more of a wrecker and a tool. I also suspect that he has an alias of bowtie.. since that name also has similar track antics.

Anyway.. hopefully the race tonight has alot less lag.. I was ok for driving last week.. but not for close racing.

Paul.

I guess if you still have problems, you could always try this:

http://forum.rscnet.org/showthread.php?t=280105

I havent had a chance to check it out yet.
