This thread assumes you may be very new to using rFactor 2 and as such, I'll try to provide step by step instructions for things that will become second nature is short order.

In rFactor 1, the sim came with a short list of tracks and cars. Now that rFactor 2 is provided by Steam all the content needs to be subscribed in the Workshop.

To get to the rFactor section of the Steam Workshop, you'll need to open the Steam application that was installed with rFactor 2. Go to the Community pull down menu and then choose Workshop. Once there, type rFactor 2 in the search the workshop box.

I'm leaning toward the Tatuus cars and the ones without the "halo" to give the best visibility. I'll pick some basic tracks to start with. Like Watkins Glen short course and the A1 Ring from F1.

The first car:

Tatuus MSV F30-016, 020 = 250hp
Tatuus PM-18 = 275hp

The first two tracks:

Watkins Glen International ( By Shumi21 )
Watkins Glen Short ( no chicane )

Riverside International Raceway
Short course.

All of these are in the Steam Workshop. ( Ask if you don't know how to find content in Steam. )

I'm thinking of hosting the first event on Dec 19th and the second one after Christmas.
